| I think it's a Greene King pub, but one of those unbranded ones you get sometimes. It has been refurbished - and thus has probably lost most of its original character - but thankfully nothing too fancy. Had a standard 'pub food' meal and a decent pint of IPA. | What a great pub the George & Dragon is, I was there yesterday lunchtime and I had a wonderful lunchtime drink and half a BBQ chicken, all served by the 3 very friendly ladies behind the bar while I and my partner sat in the enclosed courtyard at the back. Its not everyday that you wander into a strange pub purely by chance and get a great experience like that. PS.
