nice pub and everything else. but when i was there a man who looked to be the owner was yelling at the young girl behind the bar. which i thought was disgusting. i hope he wasnt like that all the time. i have been to the birdcage a few times on a friday night it was fun busy. but after i saw that man almost abusing the young girl i doubt i will go back. oldmate - 21 Dec 2009 15:46
A little bit pricey and slightly pretentious, but the food portions were quite generous. A couple of real ales on, fairly average but OK, some reasonably interesting bottled beers available including a lovely Australian Coopers Dark Stout. Abteilung - 25 Oct 2009 16:50
Wonderful pub, only let down by the small 'bar service area' which definately needs relocated to offer a longer bar-top. scotia001 - 6 Jan 2009 18:36

Back under the watchful eye and stewardship of the landlord, the Birdcage has become a better place to eat and drink in again. Perfect on the rare occasion that the sun is out to sit outside and watch the world go by. Great selection of Continental/World beers. Recently introduced the 'Black Rock experience' with exotic meats from Africa. Believe that they have another pub in High Wycombe, shall go on a fact-finding mission! onelostkiwi - 15 Jul 2008 17:52
