| A bit pricey with a few cask ales. A much better, and less expensive selection is available at the nearby Tennent's. There's a well attended quiz night on a Monday night, but it really is for the oldies and the cerebral. Young people should avoid this night. Usually it's a welcoming pub, but as of March 2012 there are a couple of staff members, who would rather carry on behind the bar, than serve customers. Unless you're a regular, I think the pub has little to offer. Regulars obviously like the place, and congregate at the top end of the bar. Herre they enjoy the company of the staff. | Top pint of McEwans 80/- (£2.10)and the other beers were also on form.This is where you deserve a sit down after your standing stint at Tennents...Appears to be more of a Postgrad student kind of hangout.Relaxed but with great beer....Had a deep fried black pudding supper after this-from the chippy down the road.."I left my Art(eries) in a Sauchiehall Disco....." | WHAT IS THE NEW OWNER THINKING? IN LESS THAN 4 MONTHS THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP OVER 12%.£1.50 FOR A CAN OF COKE !THIS IS A SMALL , WELL RUN (UNTIL NOW) PUB NOT THE HILTON.
