| The 'richie richardson' is an immense boozer, cant understand why folk are complaining about £1.70 a go on a lager? Also it has PREM ON TAP! bit disappointed that they dont show lower league football but hey you cant have everything. The only other negative is that they dont have a dart board and that. However, immense juke-o and that, pool tables and that, large screen and that and a great buzz kicking around and that. Happy Days...... W6! Sam_D - 1 Mar 2007 14:39 |
| I echo the sentiments of the guy below me. It's the only place around here where you can be gauranteed a game of pool due to the plethora of tables. The drinks prices are great and everybody is friendly. Not the kind of place to go if you are on the pull since its usually 95% men but still by far my favourite pub in Shepherds Bush. | I really like this pub, but then I like 'old men's' pubs. The decor is mangy (although not dirty), but the barstaff are very friendly, selected drinks are very cheap (don't expect top quality, but nothing horrendous), the music is varied and interesting, the pool tables are almost always available, and it's got a few outside benches on the pavement. The clientele is generally getting a bit younger and hipper, but you can still find it populated by staring old men. That said, I've never had any trouble, or heard so much as a raised voice. Fully recommended as a cheap, comfy place to meet your mates. bbx1138 - 13 Jul 2006 16:25 |
| the only pub where i've refused to drink a pint and not even bothering to ask for something else.Dead heat with the Hop Poles for beer quality, hence the cheap price.Just a dreary place, like the fairground workers who drink there. Good pool tables. fulhambob - 4 Jun 2006 20:16 |
| Bar staff not English so conversations a bit tricky at times. Irish governor who is extremely helpful and friendly. Very cheap prices and gets busy with locals and lorry drivers who stay in the many B and B's in the area. fatcontroller - 30 May 2006 16:41 |
