Beer was well kept and a choice. But London prices in Devon. About the only downer at an otherwise great little pub.

A truly magnificent pub in the middle of nowhere. Wood panelling, two fires, one of which has apparently been burning sice 1845. Doom Bar, Otter Ale and Ringwood Old Thumper on when I visited; Otter in perfect condition. Didn't try the food but it seemed decent and good value. Cosiness is something I value in a pub and this is well, well cosy. A perfect 10.

An interesting pub, high up on Dartmoor with extensive views. Otter Ale, Adnams Broadside and Tribute on tap on my visit. The Otter was really tasty, as was the steak in ale pie! Well worth a visit.
