| Nice pub with a nice garden and decent childrens play area. Good to sit outside on a summer's evening. The menu is reasonably priced but the food is not of a high standard, and the roast in particular wasn't very nice (overcooked and potatoes tasted recooked). The lasagne was good enough although most of the dishes are very average. The restaurant section is OK but feel it could do with a refurb as looks a bit outdated IMHO. Service is reasonable, however can become very busy, with the wait for basic meals over an hour at peak times! Nice enough pub for a bite to eat if you're not too fussed about your food!! | me and my family had a lovely time eating at the bridge inn. we checked out all the other competition in the area and were disappointed. the bridge inn was easily the best for service and value. the food was excellent rotchell - 27 Aug 2007 22:35 |
| Ringwood Best - kept well. Can eat outside in well - kept garden area. We were disappointed in the food. Overpriced for what it was and neither of us enjoyed our meals. Not worth a special trip, but probably OK if you are staying nearby and want a pint (also entertainment at times). Unfortunately, appears to be not keeping up in the food stakes with better options elsewhere. anonymous - 29 Apr 2007 19:27 |
| A two hundred year old stone built pub, covered in ivy, with lovely big gardens and car park. Inside is cosy and welcoming, with a log fire in winter. There's also live music and a weekly quiz. A really nice friendly local pub that serves good food and beer! Trisha Hanna - 30 Jan 2004 18:52 |
