The Glory Mill has a warm welcoming atmoshere that has been built up over many decades - even though the name has changed (from the Rose and Crown)and the decor has been updated you can still pick up the friendly years old vibe. I am a new resident and can say that this is the best place in the area for mixing with locals in a frienly environment, for getting a GOOD meal and for feeling that your are out of London but not on the moon - go and visit and you will see what I mean! PS if the old boy in the Navy jacket is in buy him a beer and ask about obedience.
