Went in on a quiet night, worth a look just for the decor - welcome to Twin Peaks, Hertfordshire.

This is now called the Millhouse Tavern.

Very busy but it's overpriced and has no proper real ale. On Fri/Sat nights it's full of young people with no taste in drinking anything other than lager and alcopops. When I went the floor was wet with spilt drink and the music was so loud you couldn't hear a thing.

Trying to be positive.. they do have Heineken, one of the best lagers, so if that's your thing it's not too bad. Also it's a possible venue you want to watch live sport on the TV, but there's not many good seats so get there in advance.

Real ale drinkers, I urge you not to bother. I'd call it a young persons' pub, but I'm a young person and won't be going in there again.

Ricky installment of the Hogs Head Chain. Excellent quiz machine and a pool table at the back. Packed to the rafters on Friday and Saturday nights - where do they all come from, rickmansworth was always an older people's village. 2 mins walk from the tube station.
