| Changed my mind over the review I gave below. Whilst the good food still pervades, the ale situation has taken a turn for the worse. On the past three random ocassions that I have taken the effort to come here there has been no ale, prompting me to do a U turn and head for the peveril. | This surely is the blue print for public houses who want to serve food. Soft red velvety lighting, good ale and superb food make this an enchanting place to visit. Dining area is separated from the bar and as far as I can remember, I have never seen any children (accompanied or otherwise)in here. | Beware! There isn't a non smoking area within the restaurant. We were informed by a member of staff that they were trying to last out before new legistlation came in.
