Very nice pub but expensive drinks. Almost 4.00 for a pint. "Please go slowly round the bend" is a sign on a corner in the bar.

Nice looking building and a nicely kept pint of GK "Flankers Tackle" but @ £7.00 for two pints it loses marks!! shame 6/10

Asked for a pint of IPA, the barman poured it and asked for £3.60, I said that's a bit expensive, he said the Wetherspoon is down the road, I left, the pint went in the slop tray....

Been done up since our last visit a few years ago and now definitely aiming more at the food crowd. But that was us on this particular evening so The Argyll fitted the bill with slightly pricey but not outrageous decent pub food and although only GK, the ales were well kept. Yes, the IPA is pricey at over £3 a pint, but that seemed to be the going rate for central Henley.

Greedy King at their greediest,over £3 for unremarkable GK IPA. Incredibly hot inside. Didn't see any quiz machine alluded to by the mighty one,just a fruit machine. Wouldn't rush back.
