Now gone... WELL THAT TOOK IT'S TIME! Get an alcoholic, bisexual, landlord with no customer service skills, and it's all going to end in tears...Well now it has! Jake has now gone, the place is closed, no more decent footy. he's telling every one he's running totties...HE'S BAR STAFF ONLY...and he says all the staff are now at the Cheshire Lounge...Well I've only seen him and that one who looks a bit like Amy Winehouse...Sad really but I guess he's got more time for his ladyboys now! jakekelly - 4 Oct 2008 21:30
HEy kids, Ashton from the Wheaty is on SKY TV now!!! Nuts TV is now on sky channel 207. See Asthon on the show "Britains Fittest Barmaid" against 3 of the counties other best! The show is on late (about 2:30am!) on ramdom days so keep yous eyes peeled! It was shown last year at sensible times, but Nuts TV was only on freeview then! coasterbloke - 24 Jan 2008 23:09
Saw a great band here on Saturday. However, the Landlord got abusive when I queried why he had taken a pre-poured pint and just topped it up and served it to me. For all I knew, it could have been standing there all night. A customer service review required, I think. Pubgrabber - 20 Nov 2007 13:19
Live music on a Saturday and the chance to see the excellent Cheesepuffdeathsquad last week.Could do with a better selection of bitters but that could be addressed by a mini-crawl around some of the nearer Alty pubs prior to watching a band in here boddies_drinker - 17 Jul 2007 13:00
This is one of the best traditional boozers in Altrincham. Great beer and Jake's just upgraded the bar staff....! i'm surprised he doesn't charge an entry fee. Some of the best bar banter in town, pay it a visit. MaybeMoby - 25 Jun 2007 09:10
