An old fashioned back street local. Greene King with a guest. OK. Nothing special.

The Gardeners Arms in Plantation road is the vegetarian place. Very different pub. If you went to a bohemian, woody, student place with young, good looking staff, that was Plantation Road. If you went to a 70s throwback run by an elderly couple with old folks in flat caps sitting with their whippets and doing their knitting, that was this place.

Greene King pub in a relaxed, bohemian part of Oxford, opposite the Rose & Crown. Friendly and comfortable with conversation as the stand out noise. Good but in the end it is Greene King.

Enjoyed a Hardy and Hansons (G.King) and Davenports in this small friendly pub. Lovely cosy feel to the pub and nice decor.

Very nice little pub - small and cosy with interesting things on the wall

Another splendidly traditional pub in North Oxford, a stone throw's away from The Rose and Crown. Rev James was on as a guest beer, not cheap at £ 2.95, but in fine form.
