Now owned by Antic Ltd and in the GBG. On Thursday they had 4 handpumps but only Caledonian Flying Scotsman and Adnams Bitter while I was there. Relaxing place for a drink late afternoon/early evening. GuideDogSaint - 4 Sep 2011 13:57
A lovely building and comfortable interior with character and clear views of the hustle and bustle around Camberwell Green. It's been competely transformed by "going back in time" to its original identity as the Tiger. Wadworth 6X, Young's Ordinary, Deuchars IPA and Sharp's Doom Bar were available on handpump. I was served a decent pint of 6X in a dimple pint pot @£3.10. Delirious_Nomad - 19 Apr 2010 13:29
Since changing hands and becoming The Tiger this place is 100% improved and totally different. Readers should ignore all the previous comments, because these relate to a different pub. The Tiger is warm, relaxed, fresh and an oasis in Camberwell Green. Drinks and food are reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and the meal I enjoyed there this week was good. Its still a new team so I guess service could have been a little quicker, but overall this is definitely worth a visit. I am sure this will be stiff competition to the near-by Bear, Grand Union and Sun & Doves> timlloyd - 27 Mar 2010 09:09
