Love this place. Ok its a bit grubby and expensive but what a night out and great staff and atmosphere.

Met a friend here on a Tues night and thought it was fabulous! Excellent cocktails, wine, food and service was second to none! A fabulous quaint little watering hole!

Go for the music in the basement...nothing else.

on a rather grubby stretch of the old brompton road, this place looks great & is appealing...until you step inside. horrendously snooty, slow staff - matched only by equally unappealingly posh customers - combined with high prices completely ruin the promise of this place. their greatest achievement was to turn what should have been a pleasant friday evening beer in the sun into a hasty gulp & a swift exit. avoid, unless you like paying through the nose for suffering.

Great atmosphere, decor and history. Let down somewhat by poor service, mediocre food and coffee. Still worth a visit.
