Gets extremely packed on footie/rugby days. Only been in a couple of times, but the staff and clientel are decent folk and it's certainly cheaper than most surrounding pubs.

First went in here in 1974 and it doesent seem to have changed that much. None the worse for that i might add. If im ever in the area visiting the cemetery opposite i'll always pop in and have a couple of pints and read the paper. Nice place.

Small, clean, friendly. Walked in for the first time on Sunday. The beer was in excellent shape. Harvey's generally doesn't travel well, but this pub knows how to look after it. Bar staff excellent. This has to be the best pub in Bexleyheath. It certainly blows away the urine serving sh*t pits of Welling.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon. Does have that local's feel to it, with people turning and staring when you walk in, although they settle back down quickly enough. I take the point about being populated by a number of older drinkers, but it is a small pub with that sort of trad feel to it. Didn't try the food, but both pints I had (Sussex and Bombadier)were well kept, so good marks for the beer. Bar staff acknowledged my presence (despite serving someone else at the time) almost immediately, and service was quick, which is something I always looks for. Certainly the best pub in the Broadway/shopping centre area.
