Grotty, gritty and grimy.

Still, offically the cheapest round I have ever bought in London: £3.40 for two Youngs, which were in reasonable condition.

Not bad. Decent selection of real ales (3). Music was a bit loud and naff but got better as the night went on.

We just went in on a Friday about 7ish for 45 mins.

Cheap, but a total dump. Staff smoke in the non-smoking area!

I like this place, its not an outstanding boozer, but its cheap, clean, serves the odd real ale, and plays music (unlike the 'spoons next door). Always found it very hospitable. Live a short bus ride away and me and the missus ofen go when we can't be bothered to cook but don't want to spend lots of cash (and end up staying too long 'cos you can't say no to another round at those prices).

The Golden Goose! The jewel in the crown of the Goose empire. This pub rules ok. Go there with a smile on your face and and in your heart and you will be treated in a way that you thought was only reseved for men over 60 who prop up the bar all day.
Extremely reasonably priced with a standard pub menu but with a difference- small, medium & large options! They really know their customer base.
Vivre la goose!
