shocking

Very disappointing. Starter never arrived. Mains took 50 mins and came out luke-warm. Lamb shank was still frozen in parts. Aubergine in sweet potato curry was old and rubbery. Front-of-house staff were helpful - the problem seems to lie with the kitchen...

it's a harvester,so people shouldn't be to suprised to find conveyor belt food, plastic decor, pasturised beer and no soul

Seriously, don't bother - over priced slop fare. We felt ripped off. Could have done a better job cooking up the remnants of my fridge and freezer. Overpriced processed food and limited drink varieties are now the order of the day at the H&G. Shared platter for two far too small with uneven distribution of fired up foodstuffs and one corn on the cob between two - shocking. Can't believe how busy the place is, clearly the residents of Sidcup are not that fussy or have had their taste buds surgically removed.

Went there Saturday, early evening, and every table in the pub was occupied by people eating meals, this is not a pub any more, its a restaurant. Did not stay, went elsewhere. I do not think the management want it to be a pub any more, fine if you are hungry and not thirsty.
