Staff were extremely helpful. They retrieved my mobile when I left it after a quick drink in their pleasant, atmospheric little pub. Wasn't too packed to get a sofa seat at the time we went in either, and i knopw from the past it stays open very late which can be handy. 8/10

I'm an professional singer who came down to nottingham to stay with my sister for a week & on some occations we visited this pub as we got to know the characters very quickly through the bright pictures on the walls & the staff didn't seem to look very happy but then again we just put this down to the goth look as the guy behind the bar seemed to want to create this Impression for himself so we thought fair enough, well seemed like a chilling place to be at first, must admit they didn't seem that friendly but anyway a last minute drink, means a last minute drink!!
We wasn't In there that long before we went outside for a cigerette, there was this mean looking bouncer on the door, not the nice short one who'ld been there the previous nights as we didn't see him at all but after what we saw, you can safely bet your bottom dollar that we won't ever set foot Inside that place ever again & It summed up our conclusion that they are the most unfriendly bar people we have ever come across & anybody who doesn't agree with this comment Is just as bad as these people & are very welcome to It all!!

Yours Trudy Donnerhue... "PLEASE KEEP THE OTHER PUBS ROCKING" BECAUSE "LIFE IS LOUD & WE DON'T NEED TO BE WITHOUT"!!

WE WERE DISGUSTED TO BE HONEST!!

An absolute dive of a rock pub. MAME cocktail cabinet, but is usually too crowded to access it. Horrible staff. Disgusting overpriced beer. Open very late, but that's it's only real saving grace. Go for the Tap and Tumbler down the road instead, unless you really want to get drunker at 3.30 in the morning.

Ditto to the review below, what happened to this place !

Used to be the best boozer in Nottingham. Now, in typical nottingham style they've given it over to the young, trendy crowd with ear-blistering music, pink walls and a late license. No real ale at all. Just the bog-standard selection which they charge the earth for. Rude staff as well. If you like a nice quiet drink in a proper pub, don't bother with this place. Just like it's close neighbour 'The Blue Bell', this pub is a shadow of what it once was.
