| A quite local pub to me and one i have used on and off for a few years. The pub seems to be in free fall and decline since Tara and Andrew left a couple of years ago. on a visit in December 2011 for an xmas party i thought i had seen it all, high price's, a dog on the bar ,and cold food we had to send back, and that was just for starters. With everywhere full on new years eve we poped in for a pint to see not very good band, which was very loud and some mindless violence. The only plus was the beer was still good. love_a_pint24 - 6 Jan 2012 17:50 |
| Sunday lunch was good although the service left a lot to be desired and the tables were full of dirty crockery. Pride was good but expensive and there was an awful smell near the mens toilets next to the food area which is not what you want as you eat lunch and we will not be going back. | Very disappointing! The rooms were clean and comfortable but the food service was awful. The evening meal orders took an age to be served and were muddled, the soup was burning hot and some of the main meal was cold. There was no breakfast system in place but the cleaner kindly provided us with tired looking cornflakes, a loaf of bread to make our own toast and a kettle to make tea. I raised my concerns and was informed by the staff on duty that it was a pub so what did I expect! A little more service or they should advertise room only. Sisko - 15 Jul 2011 14:19 |

| One of the joys of going on pub crawls in unfamiliar territory is that you discover pubs like this. It's Fullers so that imposes some constraints but the beer (Discovery) was delicious and the wi-fi was helpful. Lovely atmosphere inside that made it feel like your local even on a first visit. Cute.
