| This is a really lovely inn, with lovely food, lovely real ale and run by lovely people. It really is worth a visit on a Friday or Saturday night when, from all accounts, it is packed, like it was when we visited recently. | I am a resident so you may accuse me of a bias but I do visit regularly so you can guess it's fine! Very busy at weekends too so other folks must enjoy it too. | visited last night, unable to sample any food/ale as their card machine wasn't working. 3 ales on. The bargirl told me it was their 1st night under new management; I over-heard some locals saying so far so good. Hopefully when im next in the area I'll go back. | Have used this pub on three other occasions when food was great. Today we were most disappointed. Meals @ £3.99 seemed warmed up and were unappetising.
