| Best pub for miles! Improved out of all recognition by the current manager. We work locally and always try to get there for lunch at least once a week. It only got a 9 because they charge for the beer still. :) sideout - 24 Jul 2010 18:52 |

| Well-kept ale, nice selection of food, friendly athmosphere, a good place for a nice chat with the friendly locals and staff. Well worth a lengthy visit or two - sadly we were pressed for time due to a departing train, but next time we'll stay a long, lazy afternoon for cream tea, continuing into the evening and dinner. Pub's a good ambassador for the village as well - I wouldn't mind staying a week at the B&B just across the street, actually... ernie1971 - 14 Sep 2009 13:36 |
