| Popped in for a few beers and food last week. Friendly staff, good Badgers beer, and decent food (ie consistent with other pub food, but nothing exceptional). Would happily recommend for an evening out in Wool. Oktup - 31 May 2011 15:44 |
| what a great pub...our first visit was a sunday evening when all the staff were on a christmas jolly,but the chap who was looking after the place was top notch,the tanglefoot was really good....our second visit a few days later and it was just as good,the food is pretty good aswell. honestlee - 28 May 2011 20:50 |

| We would like to thank all the staff at The Black Bear. We were down doing the Dorset Arts and Craft Show in Bovington and we came across this lovely pub after a bad experience at a pub before had. | Best pub for miles! Improved out of all recognition by the current manager. We work locally and always try to get there for lunch at least once a week. It only got a 9 because they charge for the beer still. :) sideout - 24 Jul 2010 18:52 |
