| I agree with the last review, that this pub is a little sterile, and like many other city centre 'bars', however, despite it being a Greene King pub, they do offer a good selection of real ales, some from smaller breweries. Don't go out of your way to visit, but if you are nearby, you'll get a decent pint here and its pleasant enough. SouthYorkshireman - 18 Dec 2011 16:53 |
| Had an Abbeydale that was turning but I couldn't be bothered to argue the toss. Sterile Greene King pub. dynamiteninja - 18 May 2011 17:28 |
| GK pub with a lovely comfy interior & plenty of places to sit. Usual range of GK beers plus 2 from Abbeydale. Good central location & worth a visit. Booze_Allen - 20 Apr 2011 15:08 |
| A fantsatic Greene King pub. The Guiness is one of the best I've had as is the Abbot Ale. A great atmosphere inside, usually very busy which I think adds to the ambience. Abbeydale beers aer the usual guests, I recommend the Abbott or Speckled Hen if not a fan of Abeydale. Usually great service. Only once been disappointed with this pub when they served me a Speckled Hen that was so off it was practically vinegar. Despite that, stop here for a lovely Abbott in it's own glass. | A great little bar in the centre of Sheffield with a good range of beers. I visited on Saturdat and they had Abbeydale Breweries Brimstone on which was really good. Friendly service and not too expensive. tanky - 22 Feb 2011 17:03 |
