| A tacky, soulless, noisy chain bar, with a poor selection and a bad mix of chavvy locals and braying insincere students for clientele. When there are so many better places to drink in Sheffield City Centre, you may as well be committing a crime drinking here. | My son was in the Cavendish on Monday night with 2 friends. He is a quiet young man of 26. He was asked to leave by door staff as they thought he was underage! He did not challenge them but asked if he could stay if he ordered a soft drink. They still insisted he left. Why should he have ID on him when he's been drinking legally for 8 years?
