I was in Brockley Park over the weekend meeting a few friends. As you do, we decided to have a pint and found that The Half Moon is not only the place for a good pint with a friendly smile from a lovely bar maid but also one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. So good I had two.

Had a fantastic night at the Half Moon. The open music night was just outstanding, which made the day a very enjoyable one.

The staff are very friendly who do a great job.

As for the food, they certinaly know how to cook in the kitchen! The pizza's are mouthwatering and make you want to come back for more.

All in all, an excellent night!

A quality down-to-earth but friendly hostelry well worth a visit if you are in the area.

They've not ruined it on the inside and you can pretend you're going to the boxing gym above it but secretly run into the pub for a less strenuous although none the less virtuous light ale.

Great place to sit and have a good session ...we meet up with a load of mates from all over London and everyone agrees it's one of the best pubs they know ?

Recommended (and I'm from Pompey which is a long way to go for a beer :))
