Went here on 18th July. First visit but not the last. Lovely pint of Youngs. Just like the pint you used to drink in pubs near the old brewery in Wandsworth. Variety of nationalities behind the bar but all tried hard to please. Even Zara came across to see if everything was okay - and she is the landlord's labrador! Chips were first class (unlike the soggy mess the Anchor served up further down river)- It was worth going to the pub for the chips alone. To be honest I did not check on the prices as I used a tab but the overall bill was reasonable. Great beer garden - when the weather is hotter! And, no. I have no connection with this pub!!

Not a bad place apart from the 1 of the 2 barmaids from the Eu thinking she was serving in a soup kitchen. You do get some of the regulars talking boats abit too much.

A nice old interior consisting of three bars, with a bustling atmosphere.

Three handpulls on our visit (only one ale of note though, Hepworths Prospect) which were in fair condition.

Highlight was having it served in a thick handled glass that was class and will ensure I come back!

Halfway decent pub. Good food, fires, well kept beers. Love the outside seating area by the river. There are usually a few regulars in who have some rather quaint ways, but don't let this put you off. Take a walk along the tow-path when you've done in here.
