And another thing, they do work very hard with no complaint or attitude. Very good pub. Excellent view from the garden.

Excellent. Good ale, large quantities of tasty food, friendly staff.

Can't somebody start a chain of pubs with a "Good ale, large quantities of tasty food, friendly staff" theme?

Excellent beer. Friendly staff with a sense of humour. Food was excellent and home-cooked. Great value. Sat outside in the garden but the inside looks a great place to sit in if weather's bad.

Nice pub, good beer and lovely beer garden. Will eat next time I go.

Superb pub that Ive been to a couple of times whilst visiting the area. Last time was on a recent Sunday when bad weather forced us inside from the beer garden and into the equally pleasant surroundings of the pub itself.

Although it was absolutely heaving on a Sunday lunch time, the extremely hard working and pleasant staff managed to find a spare table. Food was extremely good, Darkstar Hophead and Harveys equally so. If you want guaranteed table inside, its clearly advisable to book in advance.

Im aiming to get down again in the summer when I get back in that beer garden and try and get through all the ales the Queens Head has to offer. Wonderful place!
