Although we only go out on a Friday nite after work in the City, The Baracuda has to be the best. They have a DJ called DJ Mikey Ridgley in there almost every other friday, and he plays all the old cheese music from the late 70's to the present day. He has to be the best friday night DJ they have ever had. We have visited the Baracuda several times when his been there and stayed a lot longer than we intended too. Well done the Team at Baracuda for such a cool night with a top bloke!!

Excellent place to watch sporting events! The atmosphere for every Liverpool Champions League game we've been to this season has been close to The Kop itself!

Table service is welcome when the bar is busy and serves a very decent Boerie Roll! All they need is draught Windhoek and it'd be perfect!

This place is FANTASTIC.......I have just turned 120 years old, and this place still rocks!!

The only reason to come in here is to watch the footy as it has the biggest screen in the City that I know of. Unusually it also has enough bar staff on when matches are being played

Other than that it is a vast soulless cavern that hasn't got any better despite regular name changes. Beardy ale drinkers won't find much joy in here and there are many better places to go nearby

Even with 23 screens, they tell me they're still bringing in new plasma screens!! Anyway, with the popularity of the new widescreen format screens, they're now showing the football in true 16:9 widescreen format - not any of that pseudo stretchy-'widescreen' rubbish that most other pubs have. Come here to watch the footie in its full available picture! Find out more about my pub widescreen campaign at www.radiofeeds.co.uk/wide
