| I religiously attended this pub for 2 years, popping across from the depressing issues at work at lunchtime to ease the pain with a few shots of tequila. Steadily the prices went up, and at £3 a shot now, I now frequent Wetherspoons. The barmaids are nice, but the toilets are small, sweaty and cramped, with only 3 urinals, 1 small sink, and a constantly out of use cubicle. Warning - I came here once on Friday night and it took literally 20 mins to get served, so much that I ended up buying three bottles of wine to last me the rest of the evening. | It's called Brown Sugar now. Mainly an afterwork lunch time drinking place that serves GREAT Thai food cooked by a lovely Thai lady. Lager is the usual London prices. And they only seem to hire attractive bar maids. No complaints here. Sillyface - 6 Jun 2006 17:23 |
| This is now called Brown Sugar, still serves great Thai food and a decent selection of beers including Staropramen and Leffe srolland - 30 Mar 2006 17:32 |
| Nice style pub selling Thai food and nice Stella. Good after work boozer with the usual chirch style chair but a bit more chilled and a bit clubby. Nice staff as well, but he resident DJ later on obviously just wants us all to hear his tunes and not to chat. dermot - 4 Dec 2003 19:48 |
