| OK pub its not to far for me to venture to after work or at lunchtime. It has indeed had a refit but its still not to poncey. Good selection of lagers aswell. Can get busy at lunchtime but overall its a not bad wee pub. dgriffin - 21 Dec 2007 16:37 |
| I spent too long working in this area, and at least The Windmill offered some sanctuary from the braying chinless wonders and charmless barrow boys of the city. Suggest if you can't handle a real pub then stick to the All Bar One's and the other McDonalds-style cafe-bars of this locale. | Please be advised that this unnecessarily loathsome pub closed its doors for the last time on 9th February 2006, i.e. it is shut. As Thatcher once said, "Rejoice at that news!".
