...and it's just closed down! That just leaves the Grove Inn in this area. Hmm.. On to somewhere else then.

To be honest it does the trick. It's just round the corner when you just fancy a cheeky on eof an evening. No prizes for draught selection but there's a friendly atmoshere and it always gets a good crowd for a match or comedy themed night. The most fun Temple fortune and even Golders Green gets.

Since the re-vamp a couple of years ago from a twin venue (front old man; back teenager), there have been three managers. The new decor has a light wine bar feel, but because not the clientel to match owing to the distance of other pubs.

The current manager is Matt and he's very nice. Has done well in making it a genuinely relaxing place to visit. There's also Richard who works there who runs the quiz on Tuesdays.

Don't go on Saturday night if you don't like annoying teenagers doing Kareoke - but this is about my only grip - well, that and you're not allowed to wear hats or football colours.

Good food - traditional pub grub - very reasonably priced - a steak for a fiver! result. They have four pool tables at the back and a video jukebox.

All in all a nice place to go, either for a quick pint or a night out (if you're staying in Temple Fortune).
