Good traditional pub. Has a lot of regulars, but certainly not unfriendly. Has quite a good jukebox, not stuffed full of the regular pop/RnB you find in most places. Also has a darts board, pool table and shows the football, but without the charged up chav element you get in other places. Cropstar - 8 Mar 2008 15:54
Not at all rough. An Irish local and the people are friendly. The only paper I could find to read was an Irish one but one of the regulars, realising I wasn't Irish, came over with an English paper for me instead. Now that is the kind of small kindness you do not get every day. beeronaut - 10 Oct 2007 08:05
Just so you know its a landlady not landlord. Karen being her name. Not one bit rough. Infact the customers are great and i'm not one of them but do visit when in the area. Nice family run pub but sort out the jukebox spotcheck - 23 Apr 2007 19:51
Fantastic pub. Great landlord who will put what you want on tv (which as a rugby league fan is particularly useful in London). Good, cheap Guiness, friendly locals. A proper pub; doesn't do food and doesn't need to. The best place in Shepherd's Bush to have a pint with your mates, and watch sport. fraser - 28 Apr 2006 16:12
Great pub. Cheap beer and you're left alone to enjoy it. Might be best to avoid when there's live music, it can get very loud and crowded. It's a mostly older, Irish crowd - maybe that's what the previous reviewer considers rough? madra_dubh - 24 Jan 2006 18:01
