Best pub in Orkney (Stromness, Kirkwall), easily better than any of the pubs in Kirkwall. Has a divided area for drinking and eating. It is dark, but friendly enough Also had a evening in the Stromness hotel, which although is bright and airy is grotty in comparison. scotscott - 24 Sep 2010 10:31
Had a quick pint in here whilst on holiday with my girlfriend. A lot of the seating is torn and ripped and held together with gaffer tape - nice! This adds to the general run down ambience of the place. Had a pint of Dark Island which was virtually undrinkable. It seems not all the dives in Orkney are in Scapa Flow! Avoid. undeaded - 31 Aug 2010 23:31

Worse than EVER! Torn seats as far as the eye can see, slow, disinterested bar staff, and a filthy floor - my how this place has gone to the dogs. Avoid at all costs. awooga - 7 Jan 2009 13:34
