| I did not know about the change of hands and refurbishment when I visited last Saturday, although I had wondered why it wasn't in the new Good Beer Guide. Although the refurb has spoilt it a bit, it could have been so much worse. I only had time to try one of the 8 real ales on offer and this was excellent. | Yes I agree. This place has gone to the Dogs. It used to be a nice old eccentric pub and now it has just turned into a horrible chain pub like any other, with loud music, offensive decor and lighting, and a different atmosphere to the relaxed supping it used to be.
