| I went there in search of live music and beer to find an agreeable enough place, with competent enough security and decent enough beer. It was not too easy to find but the doorman kind of gave it's location away. thames_pilgrim - 26 Sep 2009 16:24 |
| In the early evening in central Reading, the town is just getting very busy, but not here. It's a bar rather than a pub and I felt like I was in a David Lynch film. First pint of real ale was freezing cold and tasted like vinegar, the staff replaced it and took it off, the replacement beer wasn't very good though. I won't hurry back. | Nice little bar popular with all ages. Real Ales vary and are usually fairly good. Nice place for a chinwag and a few beers. Often been here to see music or soak up the sun outside. Nigekirk - 11 May 2008 13:56 |
