| Called in there for lunch today, and had a clear pint of Pride, and arguably the best Bubble & Squeak with Roast Beef I've had in years!!! | Occasionally the beer's good and the company is lively, other times the beer is distinctly average and the company stare at you blankly if you enter the public bar. Usually has Pride on (experimented briefly with West Berks but that seems to have gone). Also has daily papers available. Split into two bars, the public bar is pretty basic. The 'other' (I wouldn't say Lounge) bar is a bit nicer. A mixed bag, maybe worth 15 minutes if in town. Quinno - 8 Oct 2008 20:34 |
