This pub has ceased trading. Went to visit it on 21st February 2009 and it was all shut up with a notice on the door sying that the Dun Cow Pub Limited had ceased having an interest in the propoerty. It seems like another victim of the Credit Crunch.

This has changed hands midway through 2006, Leffe Blonde on draught and Liefmans Kriek Cherry Beer in the ‘fridge was a good start, the ales seem to change quite regularly, I’ve seen Hook Norton, Deuchars and local brewery Purity have all featured.

Food is great value for money, although some odd combinations crop up – I seem to remember seeing a tomato salsa and swede on the same plate!

Service is very smiley and they are open for food on a Sunday afternoon / early evening.

Under new management and completely refurbished to a traditional yet contemporary style, this pub is a jewel and should be visited by anyone in the Stratford area. The welcome is friendly and the food fantastic!! Traditional with a twist! Try the Lamb Meatballs!!!They also have Leffe beer on tap and a wide range of wines from around the world. All in all perfect for a lazy Saturday lunch or mid week treat.
