Not a bad little place. definitely a place for the kiddies. I thought the food was very tasty but a little bit overpriced, the staff were very friendly, but the service was very poor as I had to wait nearly half an hour for my diet coke. I think i would go again. carebear_321 - 25 May 2008 19:40
Reading the comments below, I must have gone on a good night. Staff were courteous and friendly and the rack of ribs I had were better than Tony Romas. I was a bit miffed about the half pint or two pint jug rule for the beer....and it was a tad expensive. It's definitely geared up for youngsters, but this old fart would go again...at a push. razor - 25 May 2008 14:01
I had the misfortune of going to this hell hole of a restaurant yesterday, i was eventually greated by an unintrested who took us to our table, which hadnt been cleaned and had squashed chips under. The service was prompt enough, but the food was aweful, overpriced, cold and unappetising. The restaurant itself was full of kids wearing tracksuits and is served buy staff who are all probably still not old enough to buy cigarettes or alcohol. Its a real shame because this restaurant is situated in a delightful national trust beauty spot, but is a blight on the horizon. They must be doing something right though cause its always packed, But i'd never go back! nosdod - 13 Oct 2007 13:43
The time is approaching to start getting into looking to book the company christmas party again. This place would definitely be the last on the list. The various comments speak for themselves..what sort of place is this...?Is it a creche for chav brats? Is it a school for microwave technicians? What on earth is it doing there amongst the beauty of the National Trust. It should be cordoned off just like the foot and mouth. anonymous - 27 Sep 2007 11:24
This has to be the worst pub I have ever been to, its dirty overpriced and the food is truly awfull! £12.00 for a burger that you could get in burgerking for 99p. The staff are all teenage chavs with bad attidudes and personnal freshness problems. So to sum up if you want a night out filled with screaming kids, burnt food and get charged way over the top this is the place for you.one to avoid at all costs!!! maryshouse - 20 Sep 2007 11:47
