| Is rated by the local CAMRA branch as one of the best ten pubs on the Isle of Wight. Visited on a busy Saturday night (opening parade for the Island games) and was a bit disappointed in the real ale on offer, two from Goddards a Island brewery but I thought they were served a bit too cold. Seems to be a bit of a "dodgy" area as just down the road two transit van loads of Police were arresting someone!! Not a bad pub but not as good as I expected. beershot - 5 Jul 2011 17:31 |
