| Formaly The Ale And Cider Press. This pub was refurbished in 2005 and renamed by the current landlords martin and julie. Lovley pub in the hart of the city centre. Always sure of a cracking pint wether it be real ale or larger. Food is supurb especially the sunday roast. Pool table and quiz machine are in constant use. The pool table is still only 60p a bargin these days. sky sports is always on so you will never miss a sporting event. The only thing that lets this pub down is the state and smell of the mens toilet, its almost unbareable. thats why i can only give it 4/10. sort the toilets and it a straight 9/10 for me!!!!!!
