This pub really is an excellent choice in this popular tourist area. Quick, efficient service from friendly staff and tasty food. A bonus on our visit was the lack of traffic as the road was closed further along, making sitting outside on a sunny lunchtime even more enjoyable. micbinks - 23 Jun 2011 16:05
Had a couple of above average pints of Greene King Abbot Ale and an excellent rump steak. The service was first rate. BazzersTravels - 30 Jul 2010 21:52
Just got back from a great weekend in Shanklin. We enjoyed a couple at the Crab Inn. A very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Plus there is a pool table! foxtrottecho - 14 Apr 2010 13:44
Nice exterior and location - generic looking place inside. A family establishment. Had Sunday lunch - satisfactory. The pint of Goddards Bitter was fine. Best part of it was the young lady who served us. Lovely. Jonnysaint - 28 Mar 2010 12:32
We did think of eating here but walked out when we saw only GK IPA on offer. The Goddards clip was turned round. The locals we spoke to were not impressed with the quality of beer in here and tended to avoid the place. GazzaTheBeerMan - 29 Sep 2009 14:13
