| great local, but don't expect clinical appearance of usual bush pubs. this one's down to earth and it's a hoops pub. chelsea stay away, we hate you. some great characters frequent this and the other two local pubs known as the Shepherds Bush triangle (only problem is the Adelaide is now a gastro shit hole with more staff than customers) rangerman - 21 Feb 2009 23:04 |
| The pub is fine can't say the same about the landlady she's a cross between Maggie Thatcher and Hitler very uncout backyardish. sheepwalker - 3 Apr 2008 01:52 |
| Very heaven itself come down to earth and landed in The Bush.On the third day God created QPR and then on the fifth, feeling somewhat parched,he established The Coningham.Whatever Margaret Thatcher says, there is such a thing as society and its proved here with the community spirit amongst the ageing regulars. Please Margaret don't ever sell up.Coningham and Hoops till I Die! | Don't like the fact that you can now be seen from the road.Never was a place i liked so would hate to be seen in it. spotcheck - 23 Apr 2007 19:47 |
| used this pub during Fulhams two year stay at Loftus Road. Its a proper football pub like the kind we used to have in pre- yuppie Fulham, its also a big Irish bar and the paddies know how to serve customers in packed bars unlike the charmless antipodeans who seem to serve in 98% of London pubs, all in all I quite miss this pub TSW - 13 Apr 2006 20:51 |
