The place has closed. Sounds like all the bad vibe and crappy service did for it in the end. I wonder if all the staff went next door (to the benefit office)!

Spent last new years eve in this complete fucking shithole as mates decided to get me a ticket.

They had 4 bar staff serving the slowest i've ever seen anyone serve, the queue was 4 deep at least along the entire bar and was taking on average 25-30 minutes to get each drink.

Got a bottle of wine in the end and drunk out of the bottle, place was a fucking disgrace, Wimbledon used to be good a few years ago, this place typifies it now.

Closed and gutted (the building, not me, as this was an awful place).

Nice looking place, lots of space, good furniture and lager selection is not bad, if not a bit expensive. But, it really is pretty souless, the staff seem like they really don't want to be there.

Of an evening, the music volume is hiked progressively louder, to the point at which you have to scream to your mate to have a chat. At the risk of sounding like my grandad, what is the point of this? Perhaps to try and compensate for the lack of atmosphere?

Food is average at best. Don't go for the sharing platter - a complete ripoff at £12 for a couple of prawns, chips and garlic bread.

Overall, not somewhere you will want to spend much time or cash in.

I went to this bar on Friday the 18th of February at around 8:30.

The venue itself is quite nice - very spacious, plenty of seating available, and quite well ventilated. Not to overcrowded which was nice.

I won't ever go back though! The bar service was the worst I have ever experienced in London. Perhaps they were understaffed, but reading other reviews it appears I am not alone in this experience...

I bought 2 rounds during the evening and both times it took me about 30 minutes to get served (no exageration). By the end of the evening when I wanted to buy a last round I simply gave up and left with my friend.

I think I saw 3 bar staff on duty, yet the bar was was packed with customers for about 4 rows back...

Completely unacceptable!
