| OK pub in the back of beyond. Trouble is, in an area with some pretty storming pubs within ten minute's drive, it's merely OK. I'm not saying it's bad - far from it. But there's nothing to put it above the competition. MankyBadger - 24 May 2008 18:04 |
| Called in for a bar snack- i ended up being seduced by the traditional menu (had steak suet pudding). Excellent portion size of home made food- longish wait for it (but we were constantly advised of this). The wait was worth it- best quality food I have had in long time. | Absolutely the best food we've found in years. Friendly atmosphere, good value, wonderful beer, food all cooked to order and not a microwaved thing in sight. Well worth the 2 hour 40 minutes drive we had to do to get there. Not a single adverse comment to make. Trudi Starling - 6 Jun 2004 18:32 |
