| Smashing back street boozer serving excellent real ales from the Oakleaf Brewing Company, including Hole Hearted, voted by Camra to be The Champion Beer of Hampshire 2002, 2003 & 2005 and Champion Beer of the Festival at Gosport Beer Festival 2004 and Southampton Beer Festival 2004. | Very welcoming friendly pub. Live music every Sunday night, acoustic session Wednesday nights (new people always welcome) and a well attended Quiz night on Monday nights (9 pm start). | This pub is friendly but a little boring. I would recommend it for older people who want a pint and a chat about the current state of the foreign policy, but anyone a bit younger and looking for a good night out with plenty of totty i wouldnt! anonymous - 23 Jun 2005 11:23 |
