| Re visit on a crawl. Dire, decor, landlord attitude as miserable as i have experienced, ale fine but not that cheap. It felt like a pub on the way out to be honest which is gutting as it was a rare real ale pub worth making time for in years past. odbod - 6 May 2011 12:33 |
| certainly not the pub it used to be, but looked relatively supported by a handful of regulars at the weekend. beer was good but in general seemed to have transported me back in time according to the decor. landlord could do a lot more to generate the trade in this densely populated area. cj0306 - 11 Oct 2010 16:29 |
| Not a good review I am afraid - Saturdays visit revealed avearge real ale an unwelcoming landlord and a grotty pub. The dart board we tried to use was so knackered as to be unusable - landlord would do better not to put it up in this condition. Beer was no cheaper than elsewhere - well below the Rose in june which i also visited again that night.
