The place has gone downhill fast. The clientele are loud and obnoxious, the food is cold and disgusting, the toilets are unclean and constantly in disrepair and the beer pipes are dirty. Since Beth left, sadly this pub is a serious letdown. Avoid unless you like cold food, eggy pints and loudmouths. Tony1979 - 14 Apr 2012 18:54
Just been taken over by another manageress, now settled in and keeps running out of beer (original) or its not right.Friday and saturday night if you like loud and out of tune karaoke then this is the pub for you :-( previous manageress made the the place friendly but now going downhill,at this rate its only a matter of time before the maidens will be the better pub. jpg33 - 11 Mar 2012 18:38
a friend told me there was a rat pack tribute performing and so we thought we would check it out. What a fantastic time we had. Excellent singer, Lovely people and a Great Atmosphere!! A lovely Clean Pub, with Fresh Flowers on the Bar and a Bottle of Wine for £7. I will certainly be visiting again! Miranda - 2 Feb 2012 23:26
Popped in whilst visiting a friend nearby, mainly because we wanted to eat. Pub grub was a little slow (40mins from ordering) but good value and quality when it arrived. Green King pub (like one opposite, so a bit of a monopoly) the Morlands Original Bitter was in good condition and at £2.40 well cheaper than most pubs round my way, but Abbot Ale was not available. Staff friendly as were group of customers playing cribbage, who pointed out a handy exit for our friend who has difficulty walking. spikefromsurrey - 31 Dec 2010 10:25
Just had revamp and a change around which to regulars took a bit of getting used to,now more of an eating establishment than a pub but looks to be on the up with new landlady, worth a visit. jpg33 - 4 Jun 2010 20:37
