This is the epitome of a good local, good friendly bar staff, the clientele are also friendly giving it a good atomsphere. Most importantly a very decent pint, three big screen TV's giving you a decent view from where ever you stand or sit, showing sport for the most part ranging from football, rugby to Gaelic games. Important to remember its a pub, its not ostentatious in any way, it does what it says it does... Somewhere to meet up, catch up with friends and enjoy a good drink. And as most have already said, toilets are maintained and clean which is always a bonus. kapstien - 9 Oct 2009 17:14
Glad I checked before visiting; this venue is rather inappropriately named, as they do not serve real ale. No rating left. trainman - 10 Sep 2009 13:41
Had a great gig in here on Saturday - lovely staff, friendly punters, great craic all round - only sorry that it's miles from where I live in east London and that I had to drive home afterwards so couldn't sample the (apparently excellent) Guinness. Thanks for having us - hope we'll be back soon. tim_eyles - 10 Nov 2008 15:58
Would be a great pub anywhere, for Harrow it’s a gem. Great place to watch sports, especially the racing. Wonderful staff-recommended. BlindTiger - 15 Mar 2008 16:19
Friendly family pub with smiling and accomodating bar staff. Beer good quality and great pub food during the week. Friendly and lively atmosphere. Good fun during football, rugby and gaelic games. Live music on a Saturday. Toilets and pub generally very clean and well kept. Also enjoy the fact it is not a very young pub like a lot of the Harrow pubs. anonymous - 28 May 2007 08:13
