| Great selection of Marstons beers, very well kept. Fun atomsphere with very friendly staff. Management extremely helpful. Kitchen open till 9, very good, reasonably priced pub food. Nice selection of Specials. We popped in for the quiz night on a Wednesday, will definately become regulars! FREE quiz and FREE food ! | Ales are generally well kept and some guest beers. Some lager is on special from time to time. Can get busy but that may be down to the price. Food can be variable in quality but I guess there is not much to say about what is pre-prepared and pre-proportioned packet or frozen. Level of cooking can be suspect as well leaning more to the overcooked than undercooked fortunately. Good atmosphere in the evenings but does get busy at weekend.
