Was once an enjoyable pint, now turned into a circus full of un-wanted and under-aged drinkers, better luck next time. summerrivers - 23 Jan 2012 23:49
The toilets; anyone seen the film Anaconda? A bl**dy disgrace. And a brown one at that. Trapdoor - 20 Apr 2011 17:36
Beer has changed to Greene King IPA. It's cheap and usually in pretty good shape. Quinno - 25 Aug 2009 11:13
Very much a students haunt, but thats fine, the place has some good things going for it, usually a nice atmosphere, a nice area out back when the sun is shining, all in all it's perfectly acceptable, not an ale drinkers paradise but usually have one beer on. Nezzy - 1 May 2009 18:15
I used to come in here all the time when I was fifteen! I've been about three times in the last year and have felt rather self conscious about being the only woman in the place. Maybe I've been going while the football is on or something... there is an old man in there that uses the phrase 'all right, treacle'. Used to do cheesy chilli chips, well good... dunno if they are still on the menu. Eponine - 10 Sep 2008 15:10
