| Been back a few times since. The pub is ok - when the beer is ok. When the beer is off, you're better off going elsewhere. It's always quite dead in here, even at weekends. Still better than how it was before when it was full of chavs. edrok666 - 10 Dec 2006 10:48 |
| The George in the mid 1990s was okay before Firkin bought it. When it became the Frothfinders & Firkin things became much better for a while - great bar staff, fun atmosphere, etc. It then changed it's name back to The George and a really shit pub - no good beers and crap atmosphere.
