This is a dimly lit long and thin bar with indifferent staff and a standard draught selection alongside Peroni.

There is a strange tunnel leading from the entrance to halfway up the pub which had some velvet rope used by bouncers to form queues so I’d imagine this place gets busy at the weekend, heaven knows why.

There is a projector screen that was rolled up on the back wall during my visit, but I can’t imagine this place showing any sport.

I didn’t like it in here and I’ll not be returning.

Not really worth bothering about as others have mentioned no atmosphere and staff seem to have lost any enthusiasm they had - don't know what this venue needs as it seems to be a disaster whatever it emerges as.

Yes it's the Grand Union now.
Aiming to sell food and not much of a pub nowadays. We ordered burgers (the staple offering) which were okay but took forever to arrive. Also ordered fries but these took so long to come we gave up and got a refund.
The drinks were dull and over priced.

The atmosphere was non-existent; we were about the only people in there all night. The worst bit was this is exactly how I thought the place would be but social pressure made me go in all the same. It's really not very good, try pretty much anywhere else along the road.

Cocktails, Nice food & much better than average staff.
I believe it's one of the best places on Upper street.
No real ale, but that's not the point. It's all about the other stuff.
